Education & Certifications
JeanAnn holds all of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of the State of New York at Albany
- Master’s degree in nursing from Arizona State University
- Post-graduate certification as a Nurse Practitioner at the University of Phoenix
- Nationally certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
She has also completed extensive advanced training in gynecology, obstetrics, and hormone therapy management.
Mentoring & Public Speaking
Currently, JeanAnn continues to mentor graduate Nurse Practitioner students from several universities, and clinical rotations with her are booked up over a year in advance.
She is also a sought-after public speaker for both professional and community audiences. During her many years of clinical practice, JeanAnn has been a guest lecturer in schools of nursing, and a clinical instructor.
Over the years, JeanAnn has won numerous awards for her clinical excellence, and her work has been awarded funding by the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
Women’s Health Advocacy
JeanAnn is a passionate advocate for the health and the welfare of women and children both here in the U. S. and globally. She spends her time and resources supporting organizations that promote maternal and child health, family planning, orphan care, and the eradication of preventable disease, HIV, and poverty — especially in the developing world.
