The Fraxel® Skin Rejuvenation Treatment
First, your skin will be cleansed. Then, about 60 minutes prior to treatment, a topical anesthetic ointment will be applied to the treatment area. The procedure takes 20 to 25 minutes for a full face. For your added comfort, the laser also includes an integrated cooling system. When combined with this cooling system, the treatment feels like a series of small rubber band snaps. Fraxel® is safe for all skin types. Following treatment, you will receive post-care instructions.

What are my After Care Instructions?
Patients can typically go back to work right after treatment or the next day. You may apply makeup or shave after your treatment; however, you must use sunscreen (at least SPF 30) under your makeup to protect your fresh skin from sun damage. Apply twice per day. Avoid the sun and take extra care to protect your skin from damage.
